This brochure explains the family reunification procedure for beneficiaries of international protection in Belgium.

DISCLAIMER: On 18 August 2025, a new law on family reunification conditions came into force.

A number of changes specifically concern family reunification with recognised refugees, persons benefiting from subsidiary and temporary protection, and stateless persons.

The brochure has not yet been updated to reflect these changes.
